DAWN is an awareness campaign launched by NAAP and friends to connect the American and Arab people under a common cause and through the shared desires of liberty, justice, freedom and dignity.
This campaign launched in February 2011 in response to the events unfolding across the Arab world. ‘People power’ has shown us that once unimaginable events can be brought to fruition if enough people stand up.
This is not about political parties, organizations or advocating for specific platforms. This is purely about the ‘people’, and how to raise awareness and action here, in solidarity with those striving for freedom.
